World Trade Center, 3 stops from the West Village, and 2 stops from Newark Penn Station, where you can catch a NJ Transit train to New Brunswick. The commute to Rutgers is approximately an hour door-to-door by train and about 45 minutes by car I drive everyday...it's a good ride cos the traffic is always the other way. getting into Manhattan takes about twenty minutes.
A municipal parking permit costs $15 and allows street-side parking. The PATH works 24 hours and the walk to and from the PATH to our house is extremely safe and well-lit. There are stores, markets, restaurants, diners and gyms within walking distance. Cafes and libraries also available within walking distance or one PATH stop away. If you enjoy different kinds of food places to eat out at and to buy groceries from, then the location is perfect for you. The apartment is on the ground floor of a beautiful red-brick apartment building. The building walls are thick and so the apt. is very quiet with good sunlight.
It's newly-renovated with hardwood floors and has a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven range, microwave, and breakfast table.
